Ultra Air Cooler: what it is (and what it is not)

Updated September 30, 2026 · Based on the seller's product page and FAQ

Ultra Air Cooler, a small white and grey personal cooler

The Ultra Air Cooler is a small, portable evaporative cooler. You add water, it pulls air through a wet sponge cartridge, and blows out cooler, more humid air. It is meant for your own personal space, such as a desk or nightstand.

What it is not

It is not an air conditioner and it will not cool a whole room the way an AC unit does. The seller's own FAQ says the amount of cooling depends on the outside air temperature, the humidity, and your settings. Evaporative coolers generally work best in dry air and less well when the air is already humid.
